Select Schedule Information window
Purpose
Use this window to create a new class for a student on the fly.
To access this window
On the Scheduling window, right-click in an open slot and click Create Individual Appointment (selected appointment type is Private), Create New Class (selected appointment type is Group), or Create Make-Up Appointment.

Item descriptions
Item | Description |

Account |
Displays the customer account number of the customer associated with the student for whom you're creating a class. |
Sub | Displays the student account number of the student for whom you're creating a class. |
Account Name | Displays the customer's name. |
Student Name | Displays the student's name. |
Appointments |
Select an appointment type for the class. Appointment types are set up on the Add/Change Appointments window. |
Location | Select a (store) location for the class. |
Instructor* |
Select an instructor for the class. Instructors are set up on the Add/Change Instructors window. *The label of this field may not be Instructor. This is determined by the ScheduleTitle system variable. |
Areas | Select the instruction space for the class. |
Description | Displays the appointment type description from the Add/Change Appointments window. You can change this as necessary. Enter up to 40 characters here. |
Original Class |
Select the class that the student missed and for which you are scheduling a make-up appointment. This box only displays if you are creating a make-up appointment. |
Minimum |
Enter the minimum number of students required to hold this class. This box only displays if you are creating a new class. |
Maximum |
Enter the maximum number of students allowed for this class. This box only displays if you are creating a new class. |
Billing Type |
Displays the billing frequency or cycle for the appointment type selected in the Appointment box. You can update this value as necessary. This box only displays if you are creating a new class. |
Rate |
Displays the billing rate for the appointment type selected in the Appointment box. You can update this value if necessary. This box only displays if you are creating a new class. |
Begin Date |
Enter the date this class will begin. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens. This box only displays if you are creating a new class. |
End Date |
Enter the date this class ends, if applicable. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). Initial Pay | Enter a payment amount here if the student is paying for the class when you schedule it. When you save the class, the Customer Payments window displays where you can complete the payment and, if necessary, the next payment due date advances accordingly. |

Select the day or days the class will be held. This box is only available if you are creating a new class. |
Start Time |
Enter the start time for the class and select AM or PM. This box is only available if you are creating a new class. |
End Time |
Enter the end time for the class and select AM or PM. This box is only available if you are creating a new class. |
Alternate Week Scheduling |
Select this check box if the class takes place every other week. If you have a class that takes place every other Tuesday and every other Thursday on alternating weeks (Week 1 is on Tuesday, week 2 is on Thursday), create two classes. |
Autopay | Select this check box if fees for this student and class will be automatically charged to the customer. |
Type | Indicate if automatic payments are of type Credit Card or Bank Debit. |
Only if payment is late by _ Days |
Select this check box to indicate that fees are only automatically charged to a credit or debit card if payment is late by the number of days indicated in the Days box. This box is only used if the Autopay check box is also selected. |
Credit Card/Type/Exp |
Displays credit card information (card number, card type, and expiration date) for automatic payments. These boxes only display if OpenEdge or Vantiv is selected in the Auto/Web Pay Gateway box on the Workstation window - CC tab. |

Edit |
Displays the Edit Credit Card window where you can swipe or enter credit card information. This button only displays if OpenEdge or Vantiv is selected in the Auto/Web Pay Gateway box on the Workstation window - CC tab. |
Save |
Saves the class with the additional student. If the class maximum is already met, a message displays indicating that this student cannot be added. |
Cancel |
Cancels any changes you've made and returns to the previous window. |
